William Chapman 
William was born in 1665 in Groton,New London,Connecticut. William's father was William Chapman and his mother was Sarah. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Samuel, Jeremiah, Joseph, Sarah and Rebecca. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 69 on August 24th, 1734 in New London,New London,Connecticut.General Notes

‌William and Lydia were married in a religious ceremony on August 11th, 1702 in New London,New London,Connecticut. They had a son and seven daughters, named Solomon, Ruth, Lydia, Sarah, Clary, Prudence, Olive and Phebe.
