Herfast De was born about 0975 in Of,,,France.  Herfast De's father was Herbastus De CREPON and his mother was Mrs-Herbastus De CREPON. He had four sisters named Gonnor De, Wevia (Duceline) De, Senfrie (Sainfrie) De and Avelina (Aveline) De.  He was the youngest of the five children.
