John Roy COLQUHOUN

John Roy was born in 1567 in Luss,Dnbrtn,Sctl. John Roy's father was Sir John COLQUHOUN XIII and his mother was Agnes BOYD. His paternal grandparents were Humphrey COLQUHOUN and Helen (Katherine) GRAHAM; his maternal grandparents were Robert BOYD BARON BOYD and Margaret (Mariot) COLQUHOUN. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Humphry, Alexander (Alasdair), Jean and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 25 on November 30th, 1592 in Mercat Cross,Edinburgh,Scotland.
