Gilbert Braddyll 
Gilbert was born in 1567. Gilbert's father was Edward Braddyll and his mother was Anne Asheton. His paternal grandparents were John Braddyll and Jennett Foster. He had eight brothers and seven sisters, named John, Richard, Edward, Ralph, Cuthbert, Stephan, Thomas, Bernard, Jane, Lettice, Anne, Elizabeth, Catherine, Dorothy and Margaret. He was the seventh youngest of the sixteen children.
