Catharine Blanchan 
Catharine was born in 1635 in Artois,Normandy,France. Catharine's father was Mathieu Blanchan and her mother was Madeline Brisson Joirisse. Her paternal grandfather was Leonin Blanchin; her maternal grandfather was Pierre Joire. She was an only child. She died at the age of 78 in 1713 in Kingston,Ulster County,New York.General Notes

Catharine and Louis were married in a religious ceremony on October 10th, 1665 in Fr.Prot. Ch.,Mannheim,Pfaltz,Ger. Palatinate. They had seven sons and four daughters, named Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Solomon, Louis, Mattheus, Sara, Rebecca, Rachel and Magdalena.
