Odo was born about 1032.1 Odo's father was Herluin De Burgh Vicomte De Conteville and his mother was Herleva De Falaise. His maternal grandparents were Fulbert De Falaise and Doda De Falaise. He had a brother and a sister, named Robert De Burgh and Muriel. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William I and Adelaide De Normandie.
