Raymond I Berengar

Raymond I was born in 1023.¹   Raymond I's father was Raymond Berenger and his mother was Sancha Sanchez.  His paternal grandparents were Ramon Borrel and Ermesinde de Carcassonne; his maternal grandparents were Sancho Sanchez de Castile and Urraca Salvadores.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 53 on May 26th, 1076 in Barcelona,Spain.¹ 

They had a son named Raymond II.
