*Demaris Bennett 
*Demaris was born on March 4th, 1759 in Newtown,Fairfield,Connecticut. *Demaris' father was *Ephraim Bennett and her mother was *Ann Baldwin. Her paternal grandparents were *Thomas Bennett and *Mary Booth; her maternal grandparents were *Caleb Baldwin and *Mehitabel. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Able, Thomas, Caleb, Jerusha, Ephriam, Mary, Mehitabell, Ann, Bethiah and Sarah. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 70 on March 20th, 1829.
*Demaris and *Jabez were married in a religious ceremony on March 28th, 1781 in Newtown,Fairfield,Connecticut. They had seven sons and two daughters, named *James, Ephraim Bennett, George, Ziba, Jabel\Jabez Lawrence, Abel Judson, Theodore, Jerusha and Susanna.
