Adam Barttelot 
Adam was born about 1046 in Ferrring,Sussex,England. Adam's father was Robert De Barttelot. He was an only child. Adam is no longer alive.General Notes
A sketch of The History of Newbury, Newburyport, and West Newbury from 1635-1845", by Joshua Coffin, Boston, 1845, P 388: In 1280 the name was spelled Bartelot, afterwards Bartholot, Bartolot, Bartelet, Bartlett, and Bartlet. In John Fox's book of Martyrs, printed in 1610, I find Richard, Robert, Sarah, and Isabella Bartlet, protestant martyrs, persecuted by John Longland, popish bishop of the diocese of Lincoln in the year 1521.
He had a biological son named William.
