Joseph BECKWITH 
Joseph was born on April 15th, 1679 in Lyme,New London,Conn. Joseph's father was Joseph BECKWITH and his mother was Mrs. Elizabeth BECKWITH. His paternal grandparents were Matthew (Mathew) BECKWITH and Elizabeth (Mary) LYNDE; his maternal grandparents were Peter TALLMAN and Anne HILL. He had a sister named Sarah. He was the younger of the two children. He had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Matthew, John, James, Jonah, Griswold, John, Prudence, Elizabeth, Ruth and Sarah. He died at the age of 62 on August 9th, 1741 in East Lyme,New London,Connecticut.General Notes
