John , Jr. was born on August 31st, 1913. John , Jr.'s father was Thomas Scott Allgood and his mother was Tencil Violet Couffer. His maternal grandparents were John F. Couffer and Mary Walton. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Howard Samuel, Thomas LeRoy, Virgil Lee, Franklin Eugene, Mildred Josephine, Flora Mae, Zoleita Irene, Jackie Dean and Mary Lou. He died at the age of 70 on September 10th, 1983.-
