Abraham (Abram) was born in Ur of the Chaldeans.1 Abraham (Abram)'s father was Terah (Terih) King of Agade and his mother was Maria. His paternal grandfather was Nahor (Nahur) King of Ur and Agade. He had two brothers named Haran and Nahor. He had a half-sister named Sarah (Serai). He died in Canaan. He was buried in cave of Machpelah near Mamre in the field of Ephrom.1 1 General Notes
