Frederick were married in a religious ceremony about 1799 in Edgecombe Co. NC. He had five biological sons and two biological daughters, named Stephen, Reuben, Joel, Redman, Jonas, Lydia and Lucy.

Frederick Mayo
Frederick was born on November 6th, 1774 in North Carolina Formed 1712 From Carolina, First settlement by Roger Green 1653. He died at the age of 81 on June 1st, 1856 in Madison County, Tennessee Formed 1821 From Chickasaw Indian Cession.. He was buried in Mayo Cemetery, Madison County, Tennessee.

Reuben Mayo
Reuben was born on October 17th, 1806. He died at the age of 70 on June 29th, 1877 in Pitt County, N. C. He was buried in W.J. Mayo Graveyard, Tarboro, Edgecombe County, North Carolina.
