Hattie Viola Whitehurst

Hattie Viola was born on July 6th, 1906 in Pitt Co.  Hattie Viola's father was James Staten Whitehurst and her mother was Harriette Elizabeth.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 77 in December 1983 in Martin Co., North Carolina.

‌Hattie Viola and Reuben Leland were married in a religious ceremony in Martin County NC.  They had a son and two daughters, named Reuben Leland, Alice Ruth and Living.
