Alfred (Alphred) was born on July 25th, 1848 in St-Pie PQ. Alfred (Alphred)'s father was Hubert Tetreau and his mother was Angelique "Angel" Messier. His paternal grandparents were Pierre Tetreau and Marguerite Lacroix; his maternal grandparents were Amable Messier and M. Josephte Bousquet. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Hubert Joseph, Napoleon, Hubert-Ls, Joseph Ludger, Angele and Marie-Victorine. He was the third oldest of the six children.-
