James Roney

James was born in 1786 in Orange Co., NC. James' father was Benjamin Roney and his mother was Catherine Andrews. His paternal grandfather was James Roney. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Benjamin, Andrew, John, Margaret, Nancy, Sarah, Catherine, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.
