Hugh Montgomery 
Hugh was born in 1619 in Ireland. Hugh's father was Hugh Montgomery and his mother was Elizabeth Shaw. His paternal grandparents were Adam John Montgomery and Elizabeth Colquhoun. He was an only child. He died at the age of 23 on November 15th, 1642 in Ireland.General Notes

oad. In 1637, he was made a member of Privy Council. In th
e great rebellion he was appointed Colonel, and took an act
ive part in military movements in Ireland. 1
Hugh and Jane were married in a religious ceremony in 1623 in Ireland. They had a son named Hugh.
