Charles Walker was born in April 1862. Charles Walker's father was Daniel Marshall and his mother was Frances Ann Booker. His maternal grandparents were John Marshall Booker and Nancy Quinn. He had eight sisters named Emma Catherine, Mary Catherine, Ida Eudora, Georgia, Pallie, Addie Quinn, Fannie Lee and Sallie Dyson. He was the third youngest of the nine children.-
