Charles was born on March 2nd, 1760 in Albemarle Co, Va. Charles' father was Curtis Land and his mother was Priscilla Bird. His paternal grandparents were Curtis Land and Mary Williamson. He had two brothers named Curtis and Bird. He was the youngest of the three children.-
