John was born on August 21st, 1768 in Caroline, VA. John's father was Samuel Hargrove and his mother was Martha Cheadle. His paternal grandparents were Bray Hargrove and Mary Hodge(s) Hunnicutt. He had a brother named George. He died after 1847.General Notes
