Martin was born about 1342 in <, Ruan Lanthorne, Cornwall, England>.  Martin's father was Sir. John l'Arcedekne Baron and his mother was Cecily Haccombe Baroness Archdeacon. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Ralph, Warin, Richard, Otes, John, Robert, Reginald, Michael and Isabella.  He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.  He died after 1429.  He was buried before May 5th, 1433 in Exeter Cathedral, Exeter, Devon, England.
