Simon I deMontfort , Seigneur of Montfort Amauri

Simon I was born about 1026 in Montfort,Normandy.  Simon I's father was Amaury II deMontfort , Seigneur of Montfort and his mother was Bertrade de Gommetz.  His maternal grandfather was William I deGometz Seigneur De Bures. He had five half-brothers named Simon I, Simon I, Simon, Simon and Simon.  He died in 1087.

‌Simon I and Isabel were married in a religious ceremony in 1055.

‌Simon I and Agnes were married in a religious ceremony about 1058 in Normandy, France.

They had a daughter named Bertgrade.
