Thomas was born in 1301 in Lathom, Lancashire, England. Thomas' father was Sir. Robert de Lathom and his mother was Katherine de Knowselegh. His paternal grandparents were Robert deLathom and Amicia deAlferton; his maternal grandfather was Thomas deKnowselegh. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Joan and Isabel. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 69 on September 14th, 1370.-
