Roger de Clare

Roger was born in 1158 in Middleton, Norfolk, England.  Roger's father was Roger de Clare Earl of Gloucester and his mother was Countess Maud de St. Hilary de Harcourt. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Richard, James, John, Henry, Mabel and Elena.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named William.  He died at the age of 83 in 1241.
