William I, known as The Conqueror, was born on October 14th, 1024 in Falaise,Normandy, France.  The Conqueror's father was Duke Robert I Of Normandy , The Magnificent and his mother was Herleva Harlette De Falaise.  His paternal grandparents were Richard II The Good Duke Of Normandy and Judith Princess Of Brittany. He had four half-brothers named Robert Count, Odo Earl Of Kent Bishop, Robert Count and Odo Earl Of Kent Bishop.  He died at the age of 62 on September 9th, 1087.
