Roger Mortimer 
Roger was born in 1221 in Cwmaron Castle, Radnorshire, Wales. Roger's father was Ralph II de Mortimer and his mother was Gladuse Day. His paternal grandparents were Sir Roger II de Mortimer and Lady Isabel Ferrers. He had two brothers and a sister, named Hugh, PeterJohn and Isolda. He died at the age of 61 in 1282.-
