Llyr (King's father was
Baran. His paternal grandfather was
Ceri. He was an only child. Llyr (King is no longer alive.
General Notes
"King Lear", was educated in Rome by Augustus Caesar. Among the "wisesayings" recorded by the Welsh Bards we find this attributed to Llyr, "Nofolly but ends in misery".
