Olaf was born in 0770 in Norway. Olaf's father was Gudrod The Magnificent Halfdansson Under King of Vestfold and his mother was Asa of Adgar Haroldsdottir. His paternal grandparents were Halfdan "White Leg" Olafsson and Aya Eysteinsdottir. He was an only child.
He had a biological son named Ragnvald of Agder.
