Eleazor Folger 
Eleazor was born in 1648 in Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard, Ma.1 Eleazor's father was Peter Folger and his mother was Mary Morrill. His paternal grandparents were John (Foulger) Folger and Meribell Meribah Gibbs. He had a brother and seven sisters, named John, Abiah (Abia), Bethiah, Bethshua, Dorcas, Experience, Joanna and Patience. He died at the age of 68 in 1716 in Boston, Suffolk County, Ma.2 General Notes
"He was a man of marked ability and satisfactorily filled the important positions to which he was called. At the time of his death he was one of the Representatives of the Town in the General Court."
From NEHGS:
"He came to Nantucket from the Vineyard, having half a share of land on the island of Nantucket granted him, to act in the capacity of a shoemaker... He is said to have represented the county in the Gen.Court."
