Editha was born about 0910.  Editha's father was Edward I "The Elder" (King) and her mother was Elfrida (or Elfleda) (or Aelflaed) of Wiltshire (Queen). She had seven sisters named Aedgifu (or Edgiva), Ethile (Eadhilde), Ethile (Eadhilde), Ethile (Eadhilde), Elgiva, Elgiva and Elgiva.  She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Edmund I The Magnificent and Eadgifu.  She died in 0947.
