Maud of was born in 1110 in Karnten, Austria. Maud of's father was Ingelbret II Duke of Carinthia and her mother was Uta Von Passau. Her paternal grandparents were Ingelbret I Duke of Carinthia and Hedwig Von Flinsbach; her maternal grandparents were Ulrich "the Rich" and Adelheid Von Fratenhausen. She was an only child. She died at the age of 50 on December 13th, 1160 in Fontevault, France.-
