St. Begga of was born in 0614 in Landen, Belgium. St. Begga of's father was Peppin I of Landen and her mother was Itta of Nivelles. Her paternal grandparents were Carloman of Landen and Gertrudeof Bavaria; her maternal grandfather was Arnoldus of Metz Bishop of Metz. She was an only child. She died at the age of 79 on December 17th, 0693.-
