Aldgyth of Mercia

Aldgyth of Mercia was born about 1039 in Mercia. Aldgyth of Mercia's father was Earl Aelfgar III of E Anglia and her mother was Alversa or Aelgifu Malet. Her paternal grandfather was Earl Leofric III of Mercia; her maternal grandfather was William Malet. She had two sisters named Aldgyth of Mercia and Lucy of Mercia. She was the oldest of the three children. She died about 1086.
