Her paternal grandparents were King Hugh Capet King of France and Princess Adbelahide; her maternal grandparents were William III Taillefer of Toulouse and Arsinde(Blanche) de Anjou of Toulouse. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Henri I Capet, Henry I, Robert I, Robert The Old , Duke, AdelaideHavoise, Adela Alix Capet and Adelaide(Adela). She was the second oldest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry I Capet, Robert Capet I Duke of, Adela Capet Princess of and Constance of.
