*Richard was born in September 1505. *Richard's father was *Thomas Sheaffe and his mother was *Alice Hendley. His paternal grandfather was *Thomas Sheaffe; his maternal grandparents were *Gervase Hendley and *Elizabeth Roberts. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Gervase, Dorothy and Mary. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 52 in 1557 in Cranbrook, Kent ENG.-
