* Sviatoslav I's father was Prince * Igor Of Kiev and his mother was * Olga.  His paternal grandfather was Prince * Rurik of Kiev.  He was an only child.  He died in 0972.

He had three biological sons named Oleg, Yaropolk and * Vladimir 'The Great'.
