His paternal grandparents were King * Pepin III Of France and * Bertrada Of Laon; his maternal grandparents were * Childebrand and * Emma Of Almannia. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Carl Of, Lothar Of, *Louis I 'The Pious', Adelhaid Of The Holy Roman, Rotrud Of The Holy Roman, Bertha Of The Holy Roman, Gisela Of The Holy Roman and Hildegarde Of The Holy Roman. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 37 in 0810 in Milan ITALY.-
