* William was born about 1754 and his baptism took place on August 18th, 1754.  * William's father was * Reuben Hodge and his mother was * Martha Hitchens.  His paternal grandparents were * Johnson and * Ann George.  He was an only child.  He died in 1823 in St Erth, Cornwall.

‌* William and * Margaret were married in a religious ceremony on February 15th, 1790 in St Erth, Cornwall ENG.  They had four sons and two daughters, named William, Robert, John, James, * Martha and Ann.
