*Elizabeth Courthope

*Elizabeth was born in 1508.  *Elizabeth's father was *Alexander Courthope and her mother was *Katherine Foster.  Her paternal grandfather was *Peter Courthope; her maternal grandfather was *Robert Foster. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Peter, William, Richard, Agnes, Katherine and Eleanor.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.

They had four sons and a daughter, named Richard, Thomas, John, Stephen and *Mary.
