Catherine Bidner

Catherine was born on September 22nd, 1857 in Paterson NSW and her baptism took place on December 29th, 1857 in Parish of West Maitland NSW.  Catherine's father was * Adam Joseph Bidner and her mother was * Margaretha Elizabetha Strassburg.  Her maternal grandparents were * Henry Josua Strassburg/er and * Margaret. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John Frederick (Frederick), Joseph, * Philip Charles, George, Laura and Margaret Elizabeth.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 74 on August 5th, 1932 in District Hosp Grafton NSW.  She was buried on August 6th, 1932 in RC Cemetary South Grafton.

‌Catherine and John were married in a religious ceremony on October 2nd, 1883 in Dungog NSW.  They had two sons and six daughters, named Henry, John, Annie, Elizabeth, Emily, Kate, Margaret and Mary A.
