Richard Whitney 
Richard was born in Islesworth-on-Thames,Eng.------see notes and his baptism took place in Not birth date,Christeneing date. Richard's father was John Whitney and his mother was Elinor Bray [?]. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Whitney and Mary Bray. He had seven brothers and a sister, named John, Thomas, Jonathan, Joshua, Caleb, Benjamin, Nathaniel and Mary. He died on September 20th, 1719 in Watertown,MA.---age 95.General Notes
He was also known as Richard Whitney Sr. He and Martha Coldham resided in Concord, Middlesex, MA. He was mentioned in his father's will on 3 Apr 1673 Watertown. He and Martha resided in 1681 Stowe, Middlesex, MA., where he was a proprieter. He resided on 28 Aug 1688 Stowe, MA; taxed 4s 10d. He "being seventy years of age", was released from training by the Court on 7 Apr 1691 Stowe, MA.
