George Layman Nutt 
George Layman was born on February 23rd, 1875 in Shugulak,Noxbee,Mississippi and his baptism took place there on February 23rd, 1875. George Layman's father was John Lewis Nutt and his mother was Mary Jane Campbell. His paternal grandparents were John Layman Nutt and Isabell Woodard; his maternal grandparents were George Washington Campbell and Jane Emma Jackson Ball. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Charles Lewis, John Washington, Isabelle Emeline, Cloey Eliza, Mary Ida, Martha Elles, Hanna Cora, Lucille, Virginia Ellener and Rebecca E.. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 73 on August 13th, 1948. He was buried in August 1948.-
