In the name of God amern the fourth day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred sixty one I Patrick Young of Augusta County and Colony of Virginia being weak of body yet of good and perfect memory and reason and considering the uncertainty of life and that all flesh must yield unto death when it shall please God to call I do make and declear this my last will and testament in memor and form folowing and none else and first I do will my body from the dust from where it was taken and my sole to God who gave it hopeing through the merrits of Jesus Chrsit to have all my sins pardoned and to be aquited in the Day of Judgment and now for the settleing of my wordly estate and such goods & chattels as it has pleased God far above and beyond my deserving to bestoe upon me I do order the same in memor and form folowing I do order my wife Esibala Young and Joseph Walker to be my lawful Executors and, first I do order that the neu house be put in tenantable repair out of the moveable estate, secondly I leave to my welbeloved wife Isabella Young one third of all my moveable estate after house is finished, 3ly I leave to my son James Young the Plantation and no more, 4thly I order that the two parts of moveable estate be equally dividded among my three Daughters Sarah Young and Janet Young and Allas Young in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this day and year first above written.
