The Shelbyville Republican Friday July 28, 1911 Page 3 column 5 ---------- William Lennox, an old soldier and well known over the county, died at the home of his nephew, Otto House, this afternoon at 2:20 oclock, aged sixty-nine years, ten months and fifteen days. He leaves one brother and three sisters. He had been in poor health since last March, but had been able to up and around until the last two weeks, when he took to his bed never to rise again. Mr. Lennox had lived in Shelbyville the last eleven years, and had lived in the county all his life. He spent fourteen years in Shelby township where he lived with his mother. After her death he lived there awhile and finally moved to town. The cause of death was diabetes. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. ---------------------------------------- Saturday July 29, 1911 ---------- The funeral services of the late William Lennox will be held at the Lewis Creek Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Scull will officiate. Interment in Lewis Creek cemetery.
