Isaac JACOB's will:
In the name of God Amen I Isaac Jacob of Clarke County and State of Kentucky being weak in boddy and sound in mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and Testament (1st) It is my will & desire that my beloved wife Elizabeth Jacob have the use and benefit of the tract of land wherreon I now live Together with all my Stock of every kind household and Kitchen furniture and all my crop of every discription Together with all my negroes and every thing else which is in my immediate possession to dispose of as she may think proper without any interruption 2nd It is my will and desire that my two negro men Robert & David be liberated at the death of my wife provided they behave themselves well while in her service but should they misbehave they are not to be liberated 3rd It is my will and desire that my daughter Sarah Mosely have all the land belonging to the tract which is now in the possession of Perrin Mosely her husband together with every thing thereunto belonging. also my negro girl Lydia and her increase to the only proper use and behoof of her and her heirs forever 4th It is my will and desire that my son John Jacob have the use and benefit of the lands whereon he now lives in Madison County during the life of my wife and at her death it is my will and desire that my son Harrison Jacob have the above named tract of land to the only proper use and behoof of him and his heirs forever and that my son John Jacob have the tract of land whereon I now live with its appurtenances to him and his heirs forever also that my son John Jacob have the use and benefit of my negro woman Dinah and her six children together with their increase (which negroes are now in his possession) to the only proper use of him and his heirs forever It is furthermore my will and desire that my son John Jacob & my daughter Sarah Mosely divide my four negroes (towit) Jude, Mary, Thomas, and James equally between themselves Together with their increase should there be any and keep them in their family my son Harrison Jacob having heretofore got his portion of my negroes (towit) Amy and Joseph which he is to keep It is also my will and desire that after the death of my wife all my personal property be sold on such Times as my Executors may think proper and the money ensuing from the Sale to be equally divided amongst my three children I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my two Sons Harrison & John Jacob and my son in Law Perrin Mosely Executors whereof I have herewith set my hand and affixed my seal this first day of December 1821
