to 3 sons James, Samuel, John - land on Jackson River in Bath & Pendelton counties, where i know reside, to be equally divided when the youngest reaches 21; son James to have first choice, sons Samuel & John are to cast lots for second choice
to daughters Eliza gwin, Anna Gwin, and Alcinda Gwin - support and maintence off the land on which I live as long as they are single and choose to stay, all household & kitchen furnitur, 4 cows, 1 horse worth at least $50
to the children of my dec'd daughter Jane Hamilton - $300 out of a bond I hold on Davis Hamilton for $400; said fund to remain in hands of Davis Hamilton until youngest child is 21
to daughter Rachel Hiner - $100 plus interest from the same bond I hold on Davis Hamilton, or davis can pay the executors

If personal estate is not sufficent to pay debts, the tract of land lnown as the Dinwiddie survey of 101 acres which joins the land of Matthew Benson and which is included in the bequest to my sons James, Samuel, and John, is to be sold to pay debts & residue of sale goes to those 3 sons
my eight day clock to remain in my dwelling and whichever of my sons get the mansion house gets the clock.
