Adelheid zu was born in 1080 in <Mönchenthal,Donaukreis,Baden-Württemberg,Schwaben, Germany>.1   Adelheid zu's father was Count Diepold II von Augstgau and her mother was Princess Luitgard zu Baden-Zähringen.  Her maternal grandparents were Berthold I von Carinthia-Zahrin and Richwara Princess Of Swabia. She had two brothers named Diepold III von and Konrad von.  She was the second oldest of the three children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Diepold III von, Luitgard Von and Adelheid of.  She died at the age of 50 in 1130.1
