Luchino was born about 1292.1   Luchino's father was Matteo "The Great" Lord Of Milan VISCONTI and his mother was Bonacossa BORRI.  His paternal grandparents were Teobaldo VISCONTI and Anastasia PIROVANO; his maternal grandfather was Squarcino BORRI. He had three brothers and a sister, named Galeazzo, Stefano, Giovanni and Caterina.  He was the youngest of the five children.
