Bishop Balderis of was born in 0955.  Bishop Balderis of's father was Count Ricfried of Betuwe and his mother was Hewesindis of Betuwe. He had two brothers and a sister, named Count Nevelung of, Count Rudolf of and Hewesindis of.  He was the youngest of the four children.
