William IV was born in 1040 in Toulouse and his baptism took place in Of,,Toulouse,France.1   William IV's father was Pons III Count Of Toulouse & Albi and his mother was Almodis de la Haute-Marche [COUNTESS OF BAR.  His paternal grandparents were William III de Toulousse Count/Toulouse and Emma Venaissin of Avignon; his maternal grandparents were Bernard I Count De La Marche and Amelia (Aina) De Montignac. He had a brother and two sisters, named Raymond IV (Count Of St Giles), Alemode Of and Garsinde de. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Hugh VI "The Fair" Sire De, Raymond Berenguer II (III) Count of, Raimond VII de, Ponce and Milesinde De.  He died at the age of 53 in 1093 in Holy Land,,,Palestine.1
